CONTROL OF PESTICIDE RESIDUES

To achieve this goal, we have a group of agronomists who monitor the applications in the field constantly, and we take samples of pesticide residues in the fruits to be analyzed before each shipment.

Most of our farms are located in the south of Colombia, in the departments of Huila and Tolima, thanks to its favorable climatic conditions, the abundance of water, sunlight and rich soils, Colombia is ideal for the cultivation of subtropical exotic fruits, which allows us to cultivate a wide range of exotic fruits throughout the year.

Wages should be paid in the legal tender at regular intervals; where partial payment of wages is made in kind, it should be fair and reasonable. Workers shall be free to dispose of their wages as they see fit. In accordance with the laws of the Colombian Government, the Government establishes the mechanism for the fixing of minimum wages to enable the determination and periodic review of minimum wage rates. The principle of freedom of association is at the heart of ILO values: It is enshrined in the ILO Constitution (1919), the ILO Declaration of Philadelphia (1944), and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (1998). It is also a right proclaimed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948). This is why Alnattural must ensure that this fundamental human right is respected. We guarantee the right of workers and employers to form organizations of their own choosing and to join them without prior authorization. Workers' and employers' organizations shall enjoy adequate protection against any act of anti-union discrimination, including the requirement that a worker shall not join a trade union or shall cease to be a member of a trade union or shall dismiss a worker on the ground of membership or participation in trade union activities. The principles of freedom of association must be fully respected; rural workers' organizations must be independent and voluntary and must remain free from any interference, coercion or repression.

Failure to comply with the rules of this Code could result in significant risks to the company and its people, and will therefore be subject to individual disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
